Small Details You Missed In The Halloween Trailer

David Gordon Green’s follow-up to John Carpenter’s classic Halloween is a very different kind of sequel than most of its predecessors. That’s because Carpenter himself has returned to the series for the first time in 36 years to serve as executive producer and composer. Anticipation got even hotter when Jamie Lee Curtis and Nick Castle were both revealed to be reprising their respective roles as Laurie Strode and Michael Myers. Add in the facts that Judy Greer stars as Laurie’s daughter, and Danny McBride is a co-writer on the film, and the Halloween hype is real. The film’s trailer debuted at CinemaCon in April, but the footage remained otherwise under wraps until now. Luckily, fans seem to agree it was worth the wait. After all the guessing, which hints does the trailer give us about what awaits in this latest installment of the Halloween saga? Join us as we cut into some of the details you might have missed…

  1. I actually did NOT notice the guy was the battering ram I thought Michael was just bashing his own head into the door. Thats awesome!

  2. Ya’ll are so quick to judge bro. No one complained about being unoriginal when the remake of “IT” came out.

  3. I know usually eerybody ends up dead but this video sorta spoils the cast destiny leaving me with a sense of i already know how this is gonna go because i know Laurie isnt dying in this one i dont think the fans would be pleased also you cant kill her twice killing her off was definetly a mistake, if the writters were gonna kill her off and bring her back to life they just should have done what James Wan did with Alice, different timelines, i dont know how i feel about this continuing after the second one and ignoring the previous thing, another thing i do know is that this reeboot sequel whatever wont probably please all the fans because it is most likely targeted towards a different younger audience.

  4. I love how Michael goes after babysitters in this again. Feels like a true sequel. He was a babysitter killer

  6. Hey, @Looper clear something up for me? Michael kills his sister when he's 6. He goes away for 15 years. So when he kills again, he's 21. Now, he goes away for another 40 years. Michael is 61 in this new film. A pensioner with a penchant for knives. Neat.

  7. OK I wish that they would’ve just kept the storyline going with the reservations one that was a really good one as well and think it would’ve made a lot more sense. Because this is coming off as all over the place but I’m still going to go and support always have been a fan of the hollowing films so it would only be right.

  8. hopefully the Rabbit in Red has some tie in the new film as well. i feel like it has some importance to the original

  9. My guess is all the sequels are dreams that Laurie had of trying to kill Michael maybe. She states in the trailer that she has prayed for his escape so she can kill him. Dreaming about him escaping could plausibly write off the sequels before pretty easily.

  10. I’ve always known and enjoyed Danny McBride for comedy, What’s his connection with Halloween and why is he a writer?

  11. Something they didn't mention in this video is that for the first time in YEARS, this movie acknowledges the fact that Michael has one eye after losing one to a hanger the original. Halloween 2 all the way to Resurrection has ignored the eye damage. Look at brightened photos of 2018 Michael to see the closed damaged eye.

  12. The bathroom scene with the teeth is from a man who has hair. It doesnt look like the same guy that is in the asylum chained to the ground. When i watched the trailer i assumed they wanted us to think that was Myers. But it was probably another psycho that escaped on the bus. My 2 cents.

  13. So yet again we are told to forget the sequels. Well hell then that means he only killed 3 people which means Myers is not a big deal so why would anyone make a fuss about him ever let alone especially after 40 years! h20 ruined the franchise. rob destroyed it. This film will bury it
